Trainee Lawyer

Paola Colombo primarily operates in the field of corporate insolvency, collaborating with the relevant partners to support companies in identifying and adopting the most suitable legal solution for managing crises and insolvency, with a consultative approach as legal advisor. She also handles the management of over-indebtedness crisis resolution procedures. Furthermore, she provides assistance in civil and commercial litigation, both in judicial and out-of-court proceedings, as well as in drafting and reviewing contracts.

Professional Experience

Before joining the Firm, she gained professional experience in two leading Italian law firms, collaborating within specialized teams in corporate restructuring and insolvency proceedings from the perspective of the Receiver.

She graduated cum laude from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, defending a thesis in Insolvency Law titled “Contractual Autonomy and the Majority Principle in Debt Restructuring Agreements”.

Publications

She has published numerous articles on business crisis and insolvency law. She also collaborated as co-author on the manual “Il Codice della crisi d’impresa per gli avvocati 2025”, published by Il Sole 24 Ore in February 2025.
